InvestUkraine is an independent, non-profit organisation, working collaboratively with the Ukrainian Government and potential investors to strengthen the Ukrainian economy and support companies located here.

- Diplomatic relations with 170 countries
- Member of the UN, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Council of Europe, and various other international organisations.
- Generally, investment permits are not required, (but all companies must be established according to procedure prescribed by law, and registered with the appropriate government agency.)
- As of 1 January 2007, total foreign direct investments in Ukraine stood at approximately $23.2 billion (State Statistics Committee).
- FDI in 2006 alone amounted to $6.3 billion
- In the last decade, the GDP increased at an annual rate exceeding 7%, including a 12% growth in 2004.
- Heavy domestic demand, low inflation, and strong investor and consumer confidence have fuelled recent economic growth.
- Ukraine encourages FDI, and has created laws to allow foreign investors the right of owning businesses and property (excluding agricultural land), repatriating profits and revenue, and receiving compensation in the case of nationalised property.

- The deal volume rocketed from 85 in 2005 to 171 in 2006 - up 101%, making Ukraine the fastest growing M&A market in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
