Connections By Road
Leeds has access to two of the major arteries of the UK motorway network. The M1/A1 (M) and the M62.
The M1/A1 (M) is a direct link to London and Edinburgh, running North-South and part of European Route E13 which connects Doncaster, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, Northampton, Luton and London.
The M62 runs West-East and connects Leeds directly to Liverpool, Hull and Manchester.
Leeds is also serviced by an extensive system of A roads, being the origin point of the A62, 63, 64, 65 and 660.

Leeds Bradford International Airport is situated ten miles from the city centre, and has charter and scheduled flights to destinations within Europe, Egypt, Pakistan, Turkey and the USA.
