York is situated in the Vale of York, an area of fertile arable land, surrounded by the Pennines, the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Wolds. The city was built by River Ouse, and its rich history is one of the many reasons that it was awarded European Tourism City of the Year, in 2007 by European Cities Marketing.

York city provides a plethora of business premises and facilities, the Eco Business Centre among them. An exciting new building at Clifton Moor, designed to deliver business services to businesses in York. This City of York service provides 60 business units in an exciting eco-friendly building. On the ground floor, 20 studio units surround a landscaped courtyard with units ranging from 355 to 575 sq ft.
