With a population of some 93,600, Worcester is growing. It has been identified as an important node on the Birmingham-Worcestershire High Technology Corridor which stretches from Birmingham University to Malvern Science Park. Having a diverse business base, the Central Technology Belt will drive and support innovation and new technology industries in the city.
Preserving Worcester’s heritage and quality of life, the city centre is currently undergoing major regeneration projects, with the expansion of the University of Worcester onto a second campus, and the development of a super library and history centre.
