Wolverhampton is centrally located, well served by several motorways and A roads, and connected via the West Coast Mainline Wolverhampton to Birmingham, London and other major cities. Birmingham International Airport is also nearby.
Wolverhampton’s successful University and College have over 23,000 students between them. The city’s population of approximately 236,000 has a vibrant mix of ethnic groups. Wolverhampton falls within the greater Birmingham conurbation, but its catchment area includes the more rural and affluent South Staffordshire and Shropshire.
The city centre offers many opportunities for new commercial developments and has an attractive historic centre, with shopping, restaurants, bars and good parking.
Wolverhampton retains a successful manufacturing sector, boasting major employers like Carillion, Birmingham Midshires Bank, a strong aerospace cluster and Marston’s Brewery.
