Herefordshire Council supports the Herefordshire Partnership by assisting the Economic Development Partnership Group, which consists of the Chamber of Commerce, Federation of Small Businesses, Advantage West Midlands, Learning & Skills Council, Business Link, and JobCentre Plus. We run several schemes and programmes to encourage business growth including Support to the Creative Industries in Herefordshire Programme and Leading on Hereford City Regeneration Project.
The M50 motorway runs through the county and, with the A40 dual carriageway, forms part of the major route linking South Wales with Gloucester, Oxford and London. Cardiff, Bristol and Birmingham international airports are all within 90 minutes drive.
