Newport City council and the Welsh Assembly Government are working on regeneration program for the city of Newport. Over the next 10 years the change in Newport will be one of the largest transformations of any city in the UK.
Newport Unlimited is focusing on three main areas.
- Central Newport - being revitalized with new modern shops, offices and unique landscaping
- East Newport - a new community with over 5,000 homes with great access to the city of Newport
- West Newport - large high European standard business par creating thousands of new jobs located on the M4
