Assistance and Support For New Business Investors
CPR Regeneration is Cornwall's Urban Regeneration Company, set up to bring prosperity back to Camborne, Pool and Redruth. Its mission is to work with private and public sector delivery partners to re-establish the area as a place of innovation, quality and wealth that will be the engine of change for Cornwall in the future.
CPR Regeneration has already worked with public and private partners to bring over 13,000m2 of land into use as employment space. The areas Strategic Investment Framework (which brings in European Convergence funding to enable private sector investment) envisages the creation of over 120,000m2 of employment space and 47Ha of land being brought back into use for employment and housing. CPR Regeneration helps private sector partners make the most of these opportunities to develop new sites and invest.
Developments currently being completed include the Pool Innovation Centre, with a net lettable floor space of 2,310m², and significant road infrastructure to open up sites. At the centre of these exciting developments is Cornwall Council’s Heartlands Project, a £29million programme for a cultural park, celebrating the area’s mining heritage, with a mix of workspace and housing alongside major art space, a heritage centre, and an outdoor theatre.
