Surrey is strategically located between London, Gatwick and Heathrow, covering 1,670 Square Kilometres, and is home to some of the UK's most prosperous multi-national companies, as well as offering areas of 'Outstanding National Beauty'.
Surrey's towns are connected by rail to central London within 30 minutes, and Surrey's comprehensive road network includes quick access to the M25, M3 and M23. Such close proximity to Europe is a key attraction for numerous international businesses who have chosen to locate within the county.
The county is noted for its industrial structure, with a strong focus on knowledge based industries. There is also a concentration of firms in sectors such as ICT, biotechnology and advanced engineering, and a number of business clusters have developed in various other sectors.
