South Oxfordshire boasts stunning countryside and bustling market towns, providing an excellent location for living and working. The Council is concentrating on delivering the economic development plans for the market towns of Wallingford, Thame and Henley, as well as supporting development in high-tech growth sectors, including Science Vale UK, and managing the £1.89 million LEADER project, designed to support rural communities.
The District has a higher percentage of individuals educated at the highest level of 4/5 than the South East and England averages, producing a highly skilled and versatile workforce.
