Cherwell enjoys a landscape of rolling hills with the northwest of the district sitting at the northern reaches of the Cotswolds, whilst being well-placed for excellent connections to the main motorway network and major population centres. With the M40 motoway passing by the District, London is only an hour away by road. Bicester and Banbury railway stations provide direct links to London with a journey time of an hour.
Cherwell is undergoing minor regeneration projects, as the Council constantly strives to improve the social, economic and environmental wellbeing of their local communities.
