Key Competitive Attractions
The Highland Council's Economic and Regeneration Section is involved in a wide range of activities aimed at further promoting economic prosperity in the region. This includes specific regeneration schemes centred around the Inverness area and the A96 road network, and building close links with both Visit Scotland, to promote tourism, and Highland Opportunity Ltd, to foster inward investment to the area.
The population of the Highlands has continued to grow over the last decade and the Council are commited to ensuring the infrastructure and opportunities are there to facilitate this and provide a workable quality of life and prosperous community for its inhabitants.
