Banbridge District represents a sound base for investment as an area that is experiencing profound growth. The area has an Enterprise Centre and a Business Centre, both located on the Scarva Road in Banbridge, to accommodate small businesses and new business starts-ups.
With its strategic location, thriving population, good infrastructure and booming economy, alongside a strong community infrastructure, the area has much to offer.
Two major development projects, Bridgewater Park and Gilford Mill, with the potential to create 3600 jobs, are planned for the District, and will provide the area with an integrated development of business, commercial and tourism uses. Over 300 new businesses have set up in the area since 2002, creating over 500 jobs.
