Businesses thrive in Brent partly because of its excellent transport links and the skilled local workforce. Every four years the council produces a corporate strategy which identifies areas for improvement within the community, and aims to enhance general quality of life through promoting and improving the economic, social, and environmental status of the borough. The present 2006-2010 plan is continuing at present with ongoing regeneration plans.
Park Royal Business Park is the largest in London, and blue chip companies like Diageo, Guinness, United Biscuits, Heinz and Delta Airlines are also based here.
