London’s largest borough occupying a strategic position in the SE of the capital, with a mix of rural areas, leafy suburbs and urban centres. It a generally prosperous borough with a high quality of life. Employers appreciate the borough’s excellent transport links, readily available pool of skilled staff, low crime levels and green surroundings - all the benefits of being on the fringes of Kent but less than 30 minutes away from central London by rail. The number of businesses exceeds 12,000, mostly in the real estate, renting & business services, retail and construction sectors - clustered in the three main town centres of Bromley, Orpington and Beckenham. There are also a number of business parks across the borough - all with excellent transport connections.
