London First’s mission is simply to make London the best city in the world in which to do business, and it runs a wide range of networks to promote its aim, providing opportunities for debate and to share information, and also to network with others to further facilitate the City's economic development. London First also strives to influence national and local government policies and investment decisions to further strengthen London’s place in the global economy.
London First is a non profit-making organisation, has no direct political affiliations and is entirely funded by its membership which is solid and credible. The organisation continues to build on its strong record of achievement and actively welcomes enquiries from both within the City and further afield.

The organisation represents the capital’s leading employers across major sectors including Financial and Business Services, Property, Transport, ICT, Creative Industries, Hospitality and Retail. Their membership also includes all of the higher education institutions, further education colleges and NHS hospital trusts in London.
