Suffolk, in the East of England, enjoys easy access to central London, Cambridge, Stansted airport and the port of Felixstowe, which is the United Kingdom’s largest container port. With an excellent quality of life and such a location, the area is becoming increasingly attractive to many types of business.
The Council works in partnership with various public, private and voluntary sector bodies and aims to ensure that Suffolk’s economy and environment continue to meet the demands of the 21st Century in a sustainable fashion through the implementation of the new Economic Regeneration Strategy complementing the work of Local Strategic Partnerships and Local Economic Partnerships.
