Housing
In recent years there have been a number of award winning housing developments in Harlow. These include Newhall to the east of the town, where you will find creative contemporary architecture and Fifth Avenue, which is excellently located between the town centre and the train station.
House prices in Harlow compare favourably with London and other comparable locations with the average price for a house at £190,000.
Culture
Harlow has recently been granted Sculpture Town status. It is home to a large variety of sculptures located in the public realm throughout the town namely work from Henry Moore, Auguste Rodin, Barbara Hepworth to Elizabeth Frink.
The Harlow Playhouse theatre and the Square live music venue have played host to many well known shows and bands over the years and provide excellent evening entertainment.
Recreational Activities
Harlow has recently seen the opening of the brand new £25m leisure facility, Leisurezone which is proving to be very popular with Harlow residents.
There is also some beautiful green space to be found in Harlow including the Gibberd Garden, Town Park and Harlow Common.
