Northamptonshire’s location at the very heart of the country means that over 75% of the population can be reached within a two hours’ drive time and direct trains to London ensure that travel to the capital is convenient and fast, taking less than 50 minutes. Education provision within the area is excellent, with the region providing access to some of the UK's leading Universities, in addition to a number of Further Education Colleges, all of which have a strong business orientated approach.
Sector strengths in the region include High Performance Engineering and Motorsport, Advanced Logistics, Enviromental Technologies, Business & Financial Services, Leather Industries and Food and Drink. The region is a fantastic area to do business and has been at the forefront of a significant government investment in housing, business and commercial property.
Transport in the region is excellent, with fast and frequent services from Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough and Corby, which allow easy access to London.
