East Northamptonshire is a prime business location. The district has within its boundaries approximately 2,400 businesses, which value the existence of the diverse, skilled workforce that is available within the area.
Recent boosts to the local economy include a new Trades Academy that has opened in the last year to help build on local skills, and new Master Plans will see major development in the towns of Thrapston, Rushden and Higham Ferrers.
Raunds and Irthlingborough have benefitted from environmental improvement schemes to upgrade their look and feel and promote the vitality and economic viability of these towns.
