Daventry District encompasses over 250 square miles and is next to the M1/M6 junction. The town is 77 miles northwest of London, 13.9 miles west of Northampton and 10.2 miles southeast of Rugby. The town has excellent communications links to the rest of the country, served by the A45 and the A361 primary roads and home to an international Rail Freight Terminal adjacent to M1 Junction 18, which undergoing expansion.
Long Buckby railway station provides connections to the London Midland services to Birmingham New Street and Northampton. Inter-city services are provided by Rugby railway station, and Birmingham International Airport is just 30 miles and 47 minutes away by road.
