Financial Assistance/Grants
Businesses located in Lincolnshire will find various available funding sources, such as GRANTnet and the Grant for Business Investment (GBI).
In partnership with EMDA, Financial Advice Lincolnshire Enterprise have initiated the Business Transformation Grant to benefit struggling businesses in the economic downturn by financing intensive support, and identify and resolve their business issues.

Loans
There are several loans available to businesses in the area, which can be obtained from mainstream lenders.
EnterpriseLoans East Midlands is a regional loan that was created to support viable business ideas that need a financial boost. The loan is intended for established entrepreneurs and start-up companies.
Small Loans for Business is a Government funded loan scheme via the East Midland Development Agency (emda) and delivered by First Enterprise Agency. The loans ranges from £3,000 to £20,000 for individuals who wish to start or develop a business and have been unsuccessful in attaining finance from other sources.
Incentives, Tax and Others
Rate Relief is granted to some charities, not-for-profit organisations, and businesses in designated rural areas.
Venture & Equity Capital
Business that invest in energy-saving equipment don’t just reduce their business costs, they can also reduce their taxes, thanks to Enhanced Capital Allowances (ECAs).
The ECA scheme for energy-saving equipment and technologies is an incentive for businesses to invest in energy-saving resources specified on the Energy Technology List (ETL), administered by the Carbon Trust for the Government.
The scheme allows businesses to benefit from 100% tax relief on their qualifying capital expenditure in the first year. Businesses can write off their total cost of equipment against taxable profits in the year of purchase, which can significantly improve cash flow.
Recruitment Support
Invest Lincolnshire can give full information on the local workforce, such as the skills market and wage rates. They can also introduce you to recruitment agencies to ease the recruitment process.
Business Accommodation Assistance
Invest Lincolnshire helps companies find suitable commercial premises and sites to alleviate the relocation process. They also provide information on the cost and availability of property and land; arrange site viewings and organise familiarisation tours.
Mergers and Acquisitions
Thanks to the cooperative environment between Invest Lincolnshire and the large or foreign owned companies in the county, Invest Lincolnshire can offer excellent networking opportunities, and facilitate potential partnerships.
