Oadby and Wigston offers superb connections to most major population centres in the UK, and has a number industrial estates home to a diverse mix of businesses. Just off the A563, which leads to the M1 and M6, Oadby and Wigston offers quick connections to the main motorway network. Less than an hour's drive from Luton, Birmingham and Sheffield, the Borough is ideally placed for excellent communications.
For international links, East Midlands Airport is 30 minutes' drive, Luton Airport is 80 minutes' drive, and Manchester Airport is two hours' drive from the Borough. South Wigston railway station provides a service to Leicester every two hours, taking five minutes, and from there frequent services go to London St Pancras, where Eurostar international services operate.
