Financial Assistance/Grants
A range of financial assistance is available through the Solutions for Business package of about 30 financial schemes. These schemes cover a wide range of needs, including start-up, business expansion, R&D, high growth, design, resource efficiency, innovation, low carbon demonstration, management skills, training, knowledge transfer from university partners, rural business development, and small loans.
Business Accommodation Assistance
The Borough Council provides managed starter accommodation for small businesses (up to about 1500 sq.ft.). The University Innovation Centre provides supported starter accommodation for technology-based companies.
