FLYING DIRECTLY between Europe and Kent has become even more enticing following the completion of work on an extensive makeover to the terminal and facilities of Kent's popular international airport, including free WiFi and improved passenger services.

The recent facelift means that Manston International will be looking its best for visitors this winter and comes shortly after Flybe announced that their low-cost services to Manchester and Edinburgh will be included in the new 2011 schedule, allowing passengers to book flights through to the end of next year.

Chief Executive, Charles Buchanan, commented: “Manston now has first-class amenities that allow us to develop the services we provide to passengers and visitors. We’re all delighted with the facelift, which makes the airport look fresher, more modern and more attractive.”

Manston’s popularity has risen exponentially since its commercial launch, and currently operates a range of domestic and international services, including direct flights to Edinburgh, Manchester, Jersey and Lake Garda (Verona), with connecting flights to Belfast, Glasgow, Inverness, Orkney and the Shetland Isles. Mr Buchanan added: “We will continue to invest in the airport’s infrastructure as passenger numbers grow."
