Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce is delighted to be teaming up with locations4business in a new partnership which will see visitors to the Chamber’s website directed to the online portal.
One of the Chamber’s main aims is to promote and showcase the thriving business sectors in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, and highlight the potential benefits to investors in the area, and locations4business provides an ideal opportunity to do just that.
Any potential investors visiting the Chamber’s website will be directed to locations4business, where they can access comprehensive information about areas such as funding and support; which market sectors are the most prominent; the local workforce, labour market and skills pool; and even what the plans for future development are.
Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber delivers a wide range of business support services to its members and the wider business community and to individuals seeking to gain employment through learning.
Chamber members can access extensive networking opportunities and a wide range of discounted services, such as assistance with international trade matters and access to important local, national and global business information and research.
George Cowcher, chief executive of the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber, said: “Our two counties are the region’s economic powerhouse, boasting world-class manufacturers like Rolls Royce, Toyota, Bombardier and Imperial Tobacco, world-class service providers like Experian, Capital One, Citibank and Centre Parcs, great retailers such as Boots and Wilkinson, as well as a myriad of smaller companies in all sectors.
"Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce aims to represent all of these and showcase them locally, nationally and internationally. Locally, we want to ensure business leads in many fields and we’ve also sought to ensure that skills and training remain a very high priority. Nationally, we have also taken a number of leads. As the third-largest Chamber in the country, we have sought to provide leadership through the British Chambers of Commerce. Globally, we have also taken great strides this year.
"This partnership with locations4business will be mutually beneficial and will give the Chamber a fresh opportunity to showcase the very best of our businesses here in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire."
