Bursa Ekisehir Bilecik Development Agency
Key Competitive Attractions
The Bursa Eskisehir Bilecik region is situated between the Central Anatolia and Marmara regions, and consists of the three provinces Bursa, Eskisehir and Bilecik. Major industries include chemicals, furniture, mining and metals processing. Included in the sub-region are some of the largest companies in Turkey.
The region is ranked 4th for education out of all the regional provinces and also counted as the 4th most developed region for socio-economic development. The region has admitted difficulties with logistics and transports due to the large number of small villages and rural communities throughout the area, but there are currently plans underway in order to bring the railways and highways up to an acceptable standard.
Bursa Eskisehir Bilecik has a strong cultural and historical heritage, as the birthplace of the Ottoman Empire. Phrygian, Roman and Byzantine ruins are all located in the region, helping tourism to become an increasingly prevalent industry.
Assistance and Support For New Business Investors
The Bursa Eskisehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA) was established in order to ease the difficulties of investing across different provinces. They serve as a single point of contact for the area and are available to assist and support investors throughout the entire start-up process.
