The region of Schaffhausen is Switzerland’s northern-most canton, located on the German border and within 30 minutes of Zurich International Airport. Schaffhausen is also on the Milan-Zurich-Stuttgart rail link, and there are regular InterCity and EuroCity rail connections in both Schaffhausen and Zurich.
Schaffhausen is home to a variety of business sectors, including automotive, pharmaceuticals, food and drink production, electronics, R&D, chemicals, jewellery making, software and professional camera manufacturing.
