Valladolid is a province of North-West Spain, strategically placed to reach the Portuguese market and benefit from the shipping and maritime industries provided by the coast line.
The province is home to over 720,000 people, two thirds of whom live in the capital, Valladolid, which is also the capital and main economic centre of the Castilla-Leon region.
The Valladoid Government has implemented numerous incentives, funding schemes, and training programmes to attract and encourage businesses to grow in the area.
In just two years, the Equal Programme "Emprendiendo sin Barreras" has created or attracted 200 new businesses, and created 400 new jobs throughout 58 villages, with a total investment of €7.8 million.
