Road: The city is linked to other major Spanish towns and cities via an excellent network roads and highways:
- A-62 (Valladolid, Madrid).
- A-65 (Leon, Astruias, Galicia).
- A-67 (Santander).
- CL-610 (Burgos, Bilbao, Zaragoza,Barcelona).
Rail: Regular serives to Valladolid, Madrid, Leon and Santander. In 2012, Palencia will be home to the AVE (high-speed train), shortening the journey time to Madrid to just 90 minutes.
Air: Valladolid Airport is the closest airport to the city, offering daily flights to Barcelona, Valencia, Paris, London, Brussels and other destinations.
