The city of Albacete is located in the South East of Spain, less than 250 km from Madrid. Albacete has been traditionally known for its production of daggers, scissors and knives, but is more recently known for being home to an Eurocopter assembly plant, as well as its large industrial area, which has developed into the largest in Spain in recent years.
Albacete is expanding its industries, and its local government has plans in motion to transform Albacete into the logistics centre of South-Eastern Spain, making it a key investment hotspot.
