Key Competitive Attractions
Located in southern Spain the Jaen Province is a region steeped in history and agriculture, home to four national parks and two renaissance cities, Ubeda and Baeza.
Ubedea and Baeza have recently been declared Heritage of Humanity by the UNESCO. The Jaen province prides itself on its history, and has upheld various traditions, which contribute to the economy through tourism and industry. Its economy is predominantly supported, however, by the agriculture and food production sector, with over 60% of Spanish olive oil being produced in the region.
