Key Competitive Attractions
Rybnik is known as the green City of Silesia, and is idyllically situated between waters and forests in Southern Poland.
The city has a population of 140,000 and is a natural centre for transportation, administration, economy, culture and education in the western sub-region of the Silesian voivodeship (population: 600,000).
Rybnik has traditionally been a coal-mining town, and is now making serious efforts to improve infrastructure, education and business facilities. More than half of the city budget is designated to new investment projects, many of which are backed by EU funds. The city is aiming to become an increasingly important investment target. Three new office parks are currently being planned as part of this strategy.
Rybnik offers competitive wage levels and potential venues for call centres.
