Slupsk is situated in the North of Poland, at the edge of the Slowinski national park, 18 km from the Baltic Sea.
The city is ideally located between Poland’s main port complexes (Gdansk, Gdynia and Szczecin). Three of the country's principal road arteries run through Slupsk, and there are plans to reopen the airport in Redzikowo (5 km from Slupsk city center).
Slupsk has been home to a Special Economic Zone since 1997, and offers a favourable business climate and a generous tax regime.
Major business sectors in Slupsk include plastic processing, timber processing, production of car windscreens, fish processing, logistics, cold rooms, electrical engineering and electronics, furniture, leather and shoes, construction joinery, and vehicle production including modern city buses.
