Radom is a city in the Masovian Voivodeship. Formerly the capital of Radom Voivodeship until its reclassification in 1998, Radom is located just 100 km south of the capital of Warsaw, and is home to 223,397 people.
Radom is the home of the Lucznik Arms Factory, one of the largest arms manufacturers in Poland. Radom also has major government facilities, including the data processing centre for the Ministry of Finance.
