Płock enjoys a strategic location at the heart of Poland. The city is only 100 km from the capital, with equal distance to the international Warsaw Chopin airport. Plock is also close to the intersection of two main international roads and 60 km from the planned Modlin Cargo Airport. The local port is linked to the Baltic ports Gdansk and Gdynia by way of the Vistula river.
Płock is home to Płock Industrial and Technological Park (200.4 ha).
