Ireland`s ICT sector is among the strongest in the world, attracting international investment, and is home to seven of the top ten global corporations. The ICT sector accounts for €50 billion in Irish exports, a figure which is set to increase as businesses take full advantage of Ireland`s competitive opportunities and knowledge-based economy.
Ireland boasts a higher percentage of science graduates than any other EU member state (Eurostat). With seven Universities and dozens of academic institutes and Institutes of Technology, the Irish economy produces consistently high levels of highly qualified science graduates, filling a variety of jobs in ICT and similar areas.
