Located on Europe’s main north-south crossroads, Lyon has a highly developed and congestion-free transport network.
The Rhone-Alpes region has 120,000 km of roads, which includes 1,100 km of motorways, 2,743 km of main roads and 27,380 of secondary roads.

The Lyon-Turin Transalpine railway project, scheduled for completion in 2015, will be a vital link in the rail line connecting Eastern and Western Europe. In the longer term, Lyon will be linked to Milan, Barcelona and Frankfurt by high-speed TGV rail lines.

It hosts a new property development project called "Hub Business", which includes a 4 star hotel, 7,500 square meters of office space, a business centre and a covered garage car park for over 2,000 vehicles.
