Alpes-Maritimes consists of the famous French Riviera coastline and the cities of Cannes and Nice.
The General Council aims to transform the Alps-Maritime area into a department of innovation that benefits from access to the latest technologies.
To achieve this, the Council has created two tools:
- The FDIC: Departmental Fund for Innovation and Competitiveness, with a financial amount of €1,873,000, of which €1,445,000 is in investment loans and €428,000 is in operating funds.
- The FDDE: Departmental Fund for Economic Development, with a financial amount of €5,192,700 of which €125,000 is in investment loans and €5,067,700 is in appropriations.
