Key Competitive Attractions
The General Council of Haute-Garonne's key objectives are:
- To support the farming, land and water development and aid to young farmers
- To promote tourism development
- To improve housing and premises
- To meet the challenges of economic development and support SMEs
In 1989, the General Council of Haute-Garonne created the European Centre for Enterprise and Innovation Theogone, the management structure of business incubators of Martres-Tolosane and Ramonville-Saint-Agne.
The region also takes part in the Cross-border Cooperation Programme France-Spain-Andorra 2007-2013, the Regional Competitiveness and Employment Programme, and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
