THE LANGUEDOC-ROUSSILLON region in France has concentrated its economic development strategies around its network of business parks, which aim to provide companies with sustainable support. As part of its economic policy, the Languedoc-Roussillon Regional Authority is continuing to build business parks dedicated to establishing new businesses, that will create both jobs and wealth. By providing an appropriate, high-quality and state-of-the-art solution, the Regional Business Parks organisation aims to enable national and international investors alike to choose Languedoc-Roussillon.
The Regional Business Parks are designed not simply as a location for companies, but as a facility to accommodate long-term business projects, for which the Region is similarly committed to support in the long-term.
Each business park is managed by an autonomous public agency, whose funding derives from the companies located in the park, including from their business taxes. These financial resources are reinvested into the business park for the benefit of its companies, funding maintenance of public spaces and the creation of services required by its firms and employees.
