Kardzhali Regional Economic Development and Investment Agency (REDIA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation formed to promote and support investments in the region, and continue to develop its economic landscape.
Kardzhali is situated in southern Bulgaria, sharing its southern border with Greece. The main sectors in the region are metals and metallurgy, retail, services, and tourism.
Vast deposits of lead and zinc ore well serve the machine building and metallurgy industry, whilst retail and services related activities comprise the majority of jobs.
