Regional Development Agency of Northwest B&H (RDA NW), collaborates with key institutions and organisations to increase the competitiveness of the Northwest region, and attract local foreign investments.
The territory’s strongest attractions are its rich natural resources, strategic geograpgic position. The region is home to the country’s second biggest city, Banja Luka, a finanial, logistics and tourist hub with its own international airport.
The city is also home of the University of Banja Luka, and the offices of numerous national institutions.
The land is ideal for agricultural activities and food and drink production, including easy and cost-efficient logistical activities. Proximity to the Adriatic coast, and famous thermal spas provide high toursim development potential.
The region is also keen to build up its innovative, financial and technology based industries, and provides a variety of incentives and funds for SMEs to attract investments in these activities.
Several support programmes have also been implemented to assist companies relocating to the area, including training of staff, facilitating technology transfer and sourcing available financial resources.

RDA NW provides a range of support services, including coordinating key resources to aid economic development (financial and other); devising development plans; instigating and promoting development programs and projects; organising the education of entrepreneurs, facilitating technology and knowledge transfer, and promoting trade and foreign investment.
