The Regional Development Agency of Herzegovina (REDAH) aims to facilitate economic development in the region, to implement economic and social reforms, and improve access to the European Union.
Situated in southern and southeastern Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H), the Herzegovina Region has a stretch of Adriatic coast, 24.5 km long, within its territory, posing particularly high potential in B&H for tourism development and economic growth.
Today, Herzegovina has gained recognition for its increasing volume and fast development of SMEs, as well as high levels of local and foreign investments.
Herzegovina’s regional and economic centre is the city of Mostar, with a population exceeding 100,000 inhabitants, but other lively towns and cities in the territory include Brijeg, Konjic, Livno, Siroki, and Trebinje.
Assistance and Support For New Business Investors
In collaboration with the Foreign Investments Promotion Agency (FIPA), and other key institutions and organisations, REDAH initiates various projects to promote foreign investments in Herzegovina.
REDAH'sresponsibilities include promoting the area and attracting foreign investment, to accelerate job creation and maintenance, and to increase the region's competitiveness for the future.
